Annette O'Toole was raised in Houston in Texas, at the dance studio of her mother. When she was just two, she first appeared in a television show as a young child on the Don Mahoney Kids Trooper Show. Her mother and she with ten years worth of singing and dancing lessons in her repertoire, travelled in Los Angeles a full year when she was 13 to see whether she could be capable of making a living in the showbiz.
