Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother as was Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 70s. Lennox was paid a stipend and did part-time jobs to supplement her budget. Lennox believed that her abilities were inferior to those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative options she could pursue. Lennox began her career in the year 1976, as a member of a band called Dragons Playground. But she quit before the band was requested to take part in I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. She was the singer in The Tourists a British pop band from 1977 to 1980. They met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox then went on to record her solo debut album Diva.
